Absolutely stunning vintage wedding dress and veil with headpiece. Bought from a boutique on Bloor Street in Toronto. The original price of the dress alone was over $4,000.00 I, unfortunately, cannot recall the designer. At the time, I wore a size 10 in clothing. Ecru (beigy/creamy white) colour ballgown with lace at the edge of the ruffles and at the edge of the puffy short sleeves). Lots of painstaking hand stitching as seen in picture with the hand sewn zipper insert. Sleeves can be easily brought in. V-neck in front and back and a beautiful attached bow at the back. Cathedral-length Veil and headpiece are by Priscilla of Boston. Headpiece colour matches the dress and is also satin. It has small rosettes and bows with beading and pearls. Lace medallions and pearls are also sewn onto the veil. Some lace at the very edge of the veil up by the face. Very reminiscent of Princess Diana's dress. Incredible workmanship. Dress has NEVER been altered. Amazing handwork. Even the zipper was hand sewn. Dress has been stored hung in a plain unbleached cotton and filled with unbleached tissue paper.
