Tulane University boasts a proud history as one of the most prestigious academic and athletic universities in the South, and now you can own a piece of that history with this BEAUTIFUL 1953 Tulane Jambalaya Yearbook!


The book gives a great snapshot into history for what it was like to attend Tulane University in the middle of the 20th century. Its pages are filled with campus activities and athletics from the 1952-53 academic year.

Among Tulane’s athletic exploits that season were a 5-5 football season, two SEC runner-up finishes in basketball and baseball, and an SEC Championship in tennis.

This Jambalaya yearbook is still in good condition considering it was published 63 years ago! The cover shows a bit of wear that you might expect from a book of this age. There is also a bit of newsprint that is stuck to the back cover, but I did not want to try to remove it for fear of scarring the cover itself. There is minimal edge and corner wear, and the binding remains strong and intact. The book is heavy as are most yearbooks and contains 312 pages in all.
