Oh dear, this item has sold.
29er Mountain Bike Aluminum Frame
$400
A friend of mine built this bike for me and its done nothing but collect dust. I put about 5 miles on it and still didn't get into the enjoyment of bike riding.
I'm 6"3 and 260 lbs. It was a comfortable size for me, so I would assume a bigger frame person would want it.
I am not a bike guy at all. I can give you the info I know or can read off of the parts themselves. Other than needing an extremely thorough cleaning and servicing (maybe a new chain and inner tubes etc) The bike itself is solid. It was fairly expensive to build a couple years ago (expensive in my eyes, I know he builds bikes that cost more than my cars) and I have looked at the price of some of the parts recently and they still seem to be somewhat pricy. Here is what I can tell you about it:
Frame - Access Aluminum 6061
Brakes- Avid BB7
Shifters- SRAM Attack
Hubs-Shimano FH-M475
Crank- Azonic (not sure which one)
Forks- Manitou
Seat- DJ? Sonoma 155
The brake cables were red but have sun faded to pink lol.
That's about all the info I have. I don't know details on the stuff, just that its not doing me any good.
$400 OBO (please don't low ball, the crank itself was $300 when it was built)
I also have two helmets that were never worn and the couple of little bags or pouches that are attached to the bike. That are included.
