$50
I bought this serger at a thrift store for $50. I brought home to find that it clearly had been dropped at some point. The motor did not originally run and one of the needles were broken. I replaced the broken needle and repaired the brackets that held the motor in place which allowed the belt to turn and activate the needles. It is totally running now and I attempted to thread it but the stitches would never fully connect. I truly believe it is a timing issue but I am no expert and have spent too much time on this already. I am simply hoping to get back what I originally put into it and hope that someone with more experience can repair it and get a lot out of this machine. I believe it can be fixed I just don't know how and don't want to sink any more money into it.
