Behold! This Vintage black lacquer garden stool / side table featuring a gorgeous blue inset floral Cloisonne panel on the top. This marvelous rare beauty is solid wood, lacquered with abundant hand painted traditional Chinese decoration throughout consisting of orange, beige and yellow flowers on the five ruyi shaped legs and apron area. Greek key or meander pattern, runs along the top rim with scroll work underneath each leg. The cloisonne work on the top is very intricate and of a superb quality bursting with vibrant blue, green, aqua, black, yellow, white and red. Stylized lotus flowers are seen around the central mandala.
