Welcome to all of our members! Thanks for joining us over here on Varagesale! We are excited for the opportunity to provide our members with the best option to help you make (and spend) money! Please take a moment to read the posting regulations listed below. It is your responsibility to know the regulations before posting!

The BEST feature of VS that we didn't have available through Facebook groups is the CATEGORIES feature!

Using the Categories feature, you can sort items by gender and size and type and just see the items that YOU are interested in. You can also choose to see all of the items listed, if you choose. You may also click on a person and view all the items they have available, even if it's listed in another group! This is a win win for the buyers and the sellers!

Discussions Section - This is open for any Columbia County related discussions! Please do not list your ISO items in here. We have a monthly ISO in Admin Tips or you can find it in "Looking For" under All, In Search Of posted with picture may be posted as a post, just check the box "I'm not selling I'm looking for this item. ISO in discussions will be deleted.

In this group please post your direct sales business and other small businesses in the Small Business Directory.

All for-sale items must have a photo. (Because someone is just going to ask for a photo anyway)

The categories themselves are fairly self-explanatory. Please do your best to upload your items in the category that best describes your item.

All items must include a price. You may include OBO (Or Best Offer.) No bids or auctions!

Items can only be bumped once every 24 hours; your bump indicator will let you know when you can bump each photo.

Please make sure that you are updating the status of your items!! The status of your item can either be Available, Sale Pending or Sold! You don’t have to worry about deleting your items, they are automatically deleted 7 days after being updated to sold!

Out of area buyers and sellers: they MUST be willing to meet up in Columbia County to arrange delivery/pick-up of an item. If you decided on other arrangements, that's up to you, but please do not expect to sell or buy something and then ask someone to drive out of the group area (Columbia County) to meet you.

Stand by your original agreements. If you agree to meet on a Friday, 6pm at Dollar Tree, Be there. Send a confirmation/reminder message if you feel the need. Don't ruin your buying/selling reputation! Be safe with your meeting arrangements.

BUYING:

It is your responsibility to make sure the item you are buying is what you want and works to your satisfaction. If you are unable to do this, you are buying at your own risk. It's possible the seller will make alternate arrangements, but don't expect it.

Don't be afraid to negotiate a price, but don't be rude or insulting if the seller doesn't agree. Again, this should be done in Private Messaging Only!

Buying items with the purpose of reselling them (within the group) for profit is frowned upon. That is against the purpose of why this group was formed, which was to have a place to buy, sell and trade items affordable.

No bashing sellers. If you have a problem that you can't solve between the two of you, contact an admin for help.
