This gorgeous and large painting is signed FRANJA on back and is oil painted with handsome and warm colors. Features a cottage, stream/creek/river, fence and beautiful orange and brown fall colored leaves. Incredibly detailed and the painter clearly worked very hard on making such a gorgeous piece.

This painting was part of a collection sold in a department store during the 20th century (2nd quarter) and has a tag on back that says:

“this original oil painting, tastefully framed, is from a collection representing the works of artists from all over the world. A painting is chosen for this collection because of the artist's ability, his use of colors and his style. Contemporary home and office decorating demands harmonious accent pieces that blend with and complement the furniture decor of the room. The information I found about the collection this artwork is part of says another painting from the collection is worth $225-320 in a private sale or antique store. I can share the link upon request.

The frame is in good and solid condition but does have a few small worn spots (see photos).
