Tables are stained with Minwax Wood Finish in Golden Oak, and sealed with Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane.

Redwood is most commonly used in outdoor furniture due to its natural insect and moisture resistant qualities, which make it a very popular choice. Redwood's structure has little pitch and resin, so it holds finishes extremely well.  However more expensive than alternatives, the higher cost of redwood is justified by its longer lifespan and reduced maintenance needs.
