This is a very beautiful 1914 Denver mint wheat penny . I haven't had the money to get it graded like I've seen others have , and many many people have told me that I really need to get it graded but honestly I don't even know where to begin the process of getting all that done. Plus unless I can personally drive my coins to the place to have them professionally graded then it just isn't going to happen because I do not trust the mail system to deliver my prized coins . There's no way ill risk that. I even have a 1909 S VDB that I have in my collection as well and a few silver early date "peace dollars" . My grandfather just died here recently and all these was past down to me through inheritance so I'm basically real new to this hobby . For the grade of AU 58 I did research on comparing my coin to alot of others and there are two other coins that look exactly like mine with grades exactly as mine or even a little worse . So my coin could be in mint state im just not sure . I do know that pawpaw had these coins in these containers for a very long time and would never let us as children ever touch them .
