This post includes a 1982 Yamaha Maxim 650 in AS-IS condition. I purchased this motorcycle from a coworker in 2014 because he injured his knee at work and could no longer ride it. I took the motorcycle home and gave it a little TLC. I replaced all the fluids (brake, oil w/filter and rear drive fluid), installed new wheel bearings and tires, cleaned the carburetor and replaced the spark plugs. (The previous owner took good care of the motorcycle, I just wanted to make sure all was in proper working order before riding it.)

I road it for one season (2015), occasionally to work and on the weekends. (I plan on riding it this season as well until it is sold.) Great motorcycle. The reason I am selling this motorcycle is to clear room for other toys. This bike rides good "as is" or could be restored or turned into a bobber/café racer. I just have other interests (toys) I would like to pursue.

No test rides unless you can show me your MC license and cash in hand.
