antique wood/metal steamer trunk 1800-1899.

We took this beat up trunk and repurposed it to be both an autumn and a serving tray. We were looking to do a coastal/cozy cottage look by distressing this piece and using shabby chic colors pallettes to bring it back to life. The cushion is made up of thicker fabric with a Map of the world printed on it. Serving tray comes out nicely and make for a good sharcturie board. This piece would fit in anywhere it goes; from a coastal get-away condo to a cottage in the woods, this primitive work of art is sure to blend in perfectly.
