antique camel back trunk.
I tried to envision this piece in my head and it hit me, I want to turn this into a little girl's chest. I wanted to turn it into a place where she could keep all her little treasures, such as hair ties, dresses, dolls dresses etc.
    So I painted the wood two different colors. The piece as a whole is painted in a more flamboyant shade, whereas the pieces of wood running across is called barely pink. The metal I decided to go with white.
    In the interiors dome lid hangs hemp cord, where pictures or anything can he hung. The clothes pins I used are heavy duty. The inside wall has the quote "find beauty in everything." I have two strand of flowers running parallel to one another and also close pins for hanging. The floor is lined in fabric patchwork that is Coated with a fabric protector.
   The piece is finished off with a 2 in 1 clear glaze and shine protectant.  This last step is made to preserve the look of the chest and give it a bit of glam all at the same time!!
