Price just dropped $500 from $3,000 to $2,500 on 3/29. The boat was owned by a military officer who was frustrated that there's no one here in Key West that works on Merccruisers and he was being deployed so he donated the boat to Habitat for Humanity for us to sell. It's got a 5.7 liter (350 Chevrolet block) Fresh Water cooled Mercruiser Alpha One package, nice outdrive, newer bellows and outdrive in good shape, trim tabs, extendable ladder, swim platform, and had $1,700 worth of work done at Spencer's Boat Yard in Key West at the end of 2020 for bottom painting and stern drive including replacing most of the zincs. (we have the receipts). It also has a new $135 Deka Marine battery that was installed last month. This boat now won't turn over. It is likely something simple, the ignition switch, neutral safety switch, or maybe the starter. It's a 350 Chevy engine and should be an easy fix for anyone who is mechanical. The motor was replaced about 10 years ago and does not have many hours on it. It is also fresh water-cooled. It's got tons of new parts included. the zinc from above the prop, every hose for the motor, all brand new, included in the sale. There's lots of gear, an aluminum rocket launcher structure and everything was working perfectly not very long ago. It's sitting on a 23' Load Rite Full Roller trailer with new tires that has a few missing bunk rollers. 2 leaf springs on the driver side appear to have been replaced not long ago but with springs that were not the correct springs (not strong enough). We have ordered a complete set of 4 four-leaf 1,750 lb leaf springs, U-Bolts, and the missing rollers and once we fix the trailer, the price will go up by $500. You can buy it now for $2,500 and we'll give you all the parts once they arrive (should be here by April 5. The trailer can be repaired easily, do it yourself since they are pretty easy if you have some tools and an impact wrench. The previous seller could not find the title but we do know the seller's info and you can likely get a title with a bit of work at the tax office doing a title search, assume the trailer has no title and is free, once repaired, the trailer is worth $2,000 alone. The boat has a clean title. There are nice cushions in the cuddy and again, lots of extras come with the boat, the guy spent lots of money at West Marine and there's lots of stuff that's never even been opened, things like dock lines, anchor lines, oil, power steering fluid, etc. the hull is super nice, good swim platform, trim tabs, all look to be in good condition but again this was a donated boat and I am only making these judgments as someone who owns two boats myself and has owned boats perpetually every year for the past 40 years. You can see the boat on 2nd Street in Stock Island at 6475-2 2nd Street. Go take a look and make us an offer. This could be a great boat that I suspect you could have running in one day if you know how to work on boats. We have no idea of the condition of things like wash down pumps, so this is being sold as-is but it's a very nice big boat that would make a great keys fishing boat for someone who can't afford to buy a big boat otherwise. We use the money from the sale of these donations to support the Habitat for Humanity program and are currently building 16 new affordable homes in Cudjoe Key. see this listing on Keys craigslist under boats category to see 24 photos
