If you are unable to meet a member as scheduled, notify them as soon as possible. Members who make no effort to contact the buyer/seller prior to the scheduled meet-up time will be given a no-show strike.
⇛ If you are reported as a no-show, an admin will send you a personal message letting you know you have a strike.
If you get 3 strikes in 6 months, you will be suspended for 1 month.
If you get another no show strike in the 6 months following your suspension, you will be revoked.
If the member has no reports in the 6 months following the suspension, they will have 3 more chances.
The member will be revoked permanently after the 2nd complete set of 3 strikes.
⇛ What counts as a no-show strike?
✔ (YES) A member confirms a day and time to meet for an exchange and does not show up or give you any notice that they weren't going to show up and you are left in the parking lot waiting for them.
✔ (YES) A member agrees to meet you at the swap and does not show up or give you any notice that they weren't going to show up and you are left in the grueling sun waiting/searching for them.
✔ (YES) You're suppose to meet someone at the swap and they don't have a swap post up but they were there. If you come to the swap you have to play by the rules... having a swap post up is crucial.
✔ (YES) You're suppose to meet someone at the swap, they have a swap post up but they will not tell you their spot number.
⇛ What does NOT count as a no-show strike?
✘ (NO) You ask a member if they can meet you at a certain time, day and place and they don't respond.
✘ (NO) You ask a member if they can meet you at the swap and they don't respond.
✘ (NO) You're suppose to meet someone at the swap, both of you go to the swap, both of you have a swap post up, both of you have your spot numbers posted but you miss each other. You were both there, both of you showed... we can't give a no show if both parties showed up. There was obviously a miscommunication of some sort but it can't be counted as a no show.
⇛ BOTTOM LINE
There has to be a commitment and an arranged time, day, place. If the other party does not contact you BEFORE the arranged time to cancel (for whatever reason) and you are left waiting for them, THAT is a no show/no contact strike.
⇛ PLEASE NOTE: Unless accompanied by proof, trips to the Emergency Room, sick kids, car accidents, etc will not get you out of a strike.
⇛ How do I report a no-show?
No shows should be reported by filling out the form here: http://www.emailmeform.com/...
⇛ No show reports are confidential... we never say who reported who (this doesn't mean the reported members won't figure it out. It just means we will never tell the members who reported them).
⇛ No shows must be reported within 1 week of the scheduled meet.
