Fabric micro suede. All recliners function well. Set could use to be cleaned and there is a light red stain on the sofa piece but that can be covered with throw pillows. Love seat has a hidden compartment and cup holders. The individual recliner rocks and is the most like-new piece in the set. The recliners in the sofa have barely been used as it sat up against a wall most of its life. There is a small knick on the back of the sofa from rubbing against the wall. See pic.
