Made from high quality marine upholstery, which is manufactured for boat/watercraft seating and coverings. It is completely impermeable by water (see pic#3) yet feels soft just like fabric....the ultimate low maintenance dog bed!

***although the material is 100% waterproof, I would NOT recommend submerging the bed under water! This is because the seams have not been sealed, due to the highly toxic chemicals that rubber cement contains! Rinsing under running water is perfectly fine:)
