This chair is brown metal, it has brown hard plastic over the metal arm rest, the seat and a portion of the back is padded. The seating and back appears to be covered with what looks like a faux leather. The tanker chairs were popular back in the 60s and 70s, I'm assuming that this chair probably generates back to that time period bit it is in excellent condition. The bottom under the seat has holes, original to the chair, you can see the batting but the chair is clean and clear of rips and holes.
