Hi Everyone,

Some of you may already be aware and have seen this but I just wanted to let you all know that we are getting hammered pretty good right now by a new wave of scammers.

It appears the accounts are FB accounts for existing members (in some cases, long time existing members) and it appears the FB accounts have been compromised.

The scammers are posting several types of vehicles like the one I have posted.

They are a Ford F150 truck, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Tundra, Keystone Outback RVs, Scamp camper, Acura. There may be others, but this is what VarageSale has documented so far.

All of the posts consistently reference an email address containing a name that does not match the account.

All activity appears to be within the last 7-10 days for these posts.

If you see posts of this nature, please send me a quick screenshot of the item showing the member's name and the description details and I will take care of it.

Even if its a different community you can also send it to me and I will alert the appropriate Admin for that community and alert the Helpdesk.

Please don't post comments on the public Feed regarding these items.

I can assure you that VarageSale are working on this the best way to handle these, as this is a bit of a different scenario than other scammer accounts, since these accounts are actual people who in many cases, are active &/or have many, many items posted.
