ANYWHERE the Kids or the “Big Kid” repeatedly hit the wall. You can’t hurt this stuff.
This is heavy, industrial quality perforated steel. Ready for indoor or outdoor use. These are “farm used” and reflect typical signs of use and some light rust. Typically rust appears on one side and possibly the edge.
A grain bin is a round steel structure. Grain bins have a concrete floor, then a support structure (think floor joists) then the drying floor. This drying floor was mounted on top of a steel support structure and air was blown up through the holes to dry the corn that was stored on top. The sections along the edge of the bin have one curved edge shape. Sections from the middle of the bin are primarily rectangular. I have a variety of sizes and you can cut them into other sizes or shapes. All sections have holes where bolts secured it to the floor support pieces. These can simplify your installation.
Most sections are 4 ft. wide x various lengths – some over 12 ft. long. The curved sections that were along the bin outer edge might be less than 4 ft. wide. Most are rectangular with an end that is triangular / curved where it extended to the curved edge of the bin. The steel is slightly less than 1/8” thick – appears to be 11-12 gauge.
The following approximate dimensions (in inches) reflect the rectangular measurements. The additional number is a triangular / curved end that is not included in the measurements. Remember these are from a round building.
