Welcome! Instacart Santa is an online food drive that aims to help families and individuals in need get food and personal care items delivered directly to your door. Please get acquainted with the rules before proceeding.

If you are requesting a Shop please post an image with a text header “Shop Needed”, “Shop Wanted”, etc, followed by a list of grocery and personal care items requested. A Shopper will then comment under “Take”, and do their best to provide as many items requested as they can. You may correspond via Messenger to exchange drop off address and other necessary details like timing, etc. When shopping is finished, please delete the chat on both ends to ensure personal safety measures.

Donations
You may post an image of new and unused food and personal care items for drop off/pick up. These can be from your home, or gathered from the store aslong as they are NEW and UNOPENED. Someone may then claim in the comments, and you may correspond via Messenger to arrange pickup/drop off.

If You Are a Shopper
As a shopper you can browse requests posted to this forum and comment “Take” under those you wish to provide shopping services.
You may also post an image with a text header “Shopping Offered”, “Shopper”, etc. where someone may comment under “Take” to request shopping services, and then provide a list of items requested. You may then correspond via Messenger and exchange drop off address and other necessary details like timing, etc. When shopping is finished, please delete the chat on both ends to ensure personal safety measures.

It is encouraged to do exchanges over Instacart, Uber, Cornershop, or any other food delivery courier (where you would request a grocery list and address, and set it up over the app) to ensure personal safety and social distancing measures. Otherwise, please be vigilant and take personal safety measures when exchanging donated goods.
