What you see is what the seller uncovered after stripping layers of paint off the front including the original brass hardware - the colors were green, tan, red, gray, powder blue, black and white. He painted the back white.

The paints clearly preserved the hardware from rust and oxidation as it looks almost new and you can still see traces of the various paint colors.

With the original brass hinges and pull handle, along with the the lock by the Eagle Lock Co., it's solid and has weight to it.

Lean it up against a wall and you'll have changed the whole vibe of a room in a nanosecond.
