This is a delightful oil painting signed by the artist Aubrey Ramus. Aubrey Ramus was a well known alias used by the popular listed artist Francis E. Jamieson (1895 - 1950). Jamieson produced works under a number of different names in order to hide the fact that he was painting for customers other than his main employer. He painted under the name of Aubrey Ramus from 1900 - 1930.
