Early 20th Century American industrial cast iron dual rotary wheel hog or pig oiler with detachable reservoir. The dual rotary wheels have pierced cast iron that rotate freely above the detachable oil reservoir to deliver oil to the pig’s irritated underside. Very heavy & sturdy. Raised lettering on the Reservoir top appears to be patent information??

Hog oilers were produced in a variety of designs, most made of cast iron. The era of innovation for this farm equipment was primarily from 1913-1923. During this time, over 20 patents for hog oilers were issued by the US Patent Office.
