Looking to part with my 84 Honda Magna. Solid bike which does not show its age. Paint and chrome are in like new condition, no dents or scratches and the bike has never been laid down. Has been my daily driver every summer for 7 years and has never skipped a beat, to include an annual trip to the UP. Very reliable bike.
The good:
-Bought the bike from a motorcycle mechanic 7 years ago who took good care of it, as did I (yearly maintenance preformed by Settes of Owatonna).
-Had full tune up last fall which included (oil change, new tires, safety/mechanical check)
-Previous owner installed aftermarket exhaust (sounds amazing, but not obnoxiously loud)
-Comes with quick detach windshield (nice for long trips)
-Throttle lock (again lifesaver on long trips)
-Stored in heated garage every winter
The bad:
-Bike began to tick towards the end of last year (hence the full tune up) and I was told it probably has a slight exhaust leak. I intend to bring it back to the shop to have it fixed once they become less busy and the turnaround time shortens however until then it will remain my daily driver. They report nothing wrong mechanically per their tune up so I am not in any tremendous rush to bring it in.
-2 weeks ago the old lady bumped the rear left turn signal with the lawn mower and it cracked. (Still works just not as cosmetically pleasing, can be replaced on ebay for $20)
Bike currently has 33*** miles on it however I will continue to ride until sold and the mileage is subject to change. Looking to sell to try out the world of sport bikes.
