- These are military surplus so no, not new off the shelf. They are very well used, robust and tons of life left in them. Built to last.
- No, they are not kid's sized but for adults.
- They are not ultralight. More like 15 lbs each.
Made of aluminum and canvas. But heavy.
- Easy to set up but requiring strong hands to finish putting on the head and foot plates. This old lady has done it, but it is hard. There is probably a trick to it I haven't mastered.
- There are flaws. One has a little bit of grease staining, and a couple of very small unimportant holes. The cots are slightly different colour.
- Great on ground or cement, but if you want them in a floored tent, you might want to add tennis balls or replacement rubber pads on some of the feet.
