Round Covered Butter from the American Heritage Collection

aka "SUNBURST"

A very beautiful, stunning, unique and colorful piece. It would be an ideal item to add to your collection or use. A rich iridescent color with lots of luster. Patterned from the McKee Glass Aztec Sunburst mold from c.1910. At times this was referred to as: Pressed Star and Cane, Swirling Star and Aztec Sunburst. Identified by its distinct characteristics design, measurements, markings, pattern through the L.E. Smith Encyclopedia of Glass Patterns & Products by Tom Felt and L.E. Smith book on Carnival Glass.

Signed with an embossed capital "S" with smaller "G" and "C" within the loops on the center inside bottom.

Age: 1971.

Material: Handcrafted Glass.

Color: Clear Crystal Lustre (White Carnival).

Size: 7" diameter x 5 1/8" tall.

Lustre carnival finish shows no wear.

As New Pristine Condition: No chips, cracks, fleabites, nicks, scars, stains or scratches.

There may/may not be some tiny embedded bubbles and/or straw marks (creases) on some pieces, this is normal with glass from this era.
