This tan coloured zig-zag, reverse with drop-feed machine includes the beautiful carry case, a printed manual, the foot pedal with cords that are in fantastic condition, the class 15 bobbin case and three bobbins. She also comes with a maintenance kit which includes two screwdrivers, a cleaning brush, a needle threader, and tweezers.
She is in excellent cleaned and serviced condition. All moving parts are freshly oiled. Tension has been adjusted, and tested. A new bobbin tire is installed, a new Universal needle, as well as new spool pin felts . She also sports a brand new drive belt! The light fixture works well and has a new bulb installed. The motor, foot pedal and cords have been inspected; armature has been cleaned and brushes checked. All good! There’s nothing left to do but take her home to sew! And sew she can!
Ever wonder why vintage sewing machines are suddenly so attractive? There’s no plastic gears to crack and no computer boards to replace. Let’s face it. We’ve all been there with today’s disposable yet very expensive machines. Contrarily, Japanese Mid-Century machines of this era are built to last for generations. This one is a fine example. She’s an all-metal tank that continues to work amazingly well! That means virtually no repair costs. Regular maintenance can be easily done at home.
If you would like to see if she’s a good fit for you, please contact me with a date and time. I’ll do my best to accommodate you. I can offer proof of double vaccination and wear a mask. Please note: You may pay with cash, debit or credit cards in person. Delivery to Winnipeg is an additional $20. She comes from a pet friendly, smoke free home. This listing will be removed November 15th. Cross posted.
