BEFORE YOU CONTACT ME, PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD, FIRST. IT WILL LIKELY ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS AND WILL ONLY TAKE ~3 MINUTES!
Sorry for the caps, but some can't read, apparently.
First: Scammers, please don't bother contacting me. I won't take your cashier's check for more than I am asking and then ship it to you. This will be an in-person transaction for cash. The buyer will pay cash and I will hand over the clean, notarized title, in-person. No exceptions.
Second: IF YOU CAN READ THIS AD, THE VEHICLE IS STILL AVAILABLE, so no need to email, text or call to ask "is it still available?"
Third: I am not a broker. I am not a dealer. I am not a service. I don't take payments. I don't take trades. I am an individual who is selling his privately-owned vehicle. I am not a charity either. I won't give it away and I am not in a hurry to sell. I've researched the price before I posted it and believe it to be a very good value where I've priced it.
Fourth: If you only have $2,000 to spend on a vehicle, that's great. That amount won't get you this vehicle, as it's less than my for-sale price. I'm sure there are plenty of other cars on Craigslist that are in that lower price range. If you're stuck on this car, save up the rest, or get a loan for the remainder and it's yours if you bring the cash.
Whew. That said, here are the details you actually want to hear:
I am selling my 2010 Volvo XC60 3.2L, 6-cylinder. This is the most popular-selling Volvo vehicle, and with good reason. It's Volvo's current mid-size SUV/Crossover. Exterior color is a dark gray and interior is a beige color (aka "blonde" ). This SUV seats 5 people and has a lot of features and extras. This one has the sport package, as well as the Dynaudio Premium sound. It has built-in Navigation (just took it to Volvo for a 2017 software Navigation map update that cost $250), also has a back-up camera, sonar, power memory seats and Bluetooth phone package. Also has USB and AUX connection for stereo system and vehicle software updates. It has the panoramic power moonroof option, which is very cool. Dual zone climate control with cold AC. Rear seat has AC vents on the B-pillars so each person in the back seat has an AC vent for them.
The interior and exterior of the vehicle are in excellent condition. The vehicle has never been in an accident and has no dents, dings or scrapes on it anywhere. Has always been garaged. Paint in perfect shape. The interior is beige leather that has no tears or rips in it and is in good condition. Has power-everything (mirrors, doors, windows, roof, seats). Has power and memory seats. Has push-button start and the keys are the "PCC" keys with several features. You can open doors and start the vehicle without taking them out of your pocket or purse. We have both keys including the backup physical keys.
The interior lighting has all been upgraded to use LED lighting for a more modern look and they use less power and don't burn out. The rear cargo area has a new molded 3D floor liner added (very cool - and wasn't cheap), along with the factory net (for holding things down from sliding around). Also has the retractible cargo cover. Some people pull all these "misc" items to sell separately to get more money, but you're getting everything with this car.
Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape. No leaks, no warning lights, no problems whatsoever. Oil changed in August using Mobil 1 High Mileage Synthetic; also replaced the engine air filter, cabin air filter and replaced the oil plug with a Fumoto valve so if you do your own oil changes, it's super easy now. Tires in great shape, brakes are recently changed.
Super-safe vehicle, very reliable and has always been serviced by Volvo of Phoenix. Have followed the proper maintenance schedule including preemptive maintenance items. Includes all manuals, original window sticker (was over $40K originally). I also have all maintenance records for the car from the past 7 years. All parts used on this vehicle for maintenance are Volvo OEM, down to the brake pads and even wiper blades.
Literally, the ONLY 2 issues this car has is that (1) I removed the CD player. It was broken and would occasionally make a weird noise. We never used it, so that was the better option. I still have it and will include it with the car, of course. Doesn't change the appearance, as it was just the mechanism that I removed. Since the radio has a USB port, we just put MP3's on a USB thumb drive to play on the radio, or connected a phone to the car and played music from the phone. The other issue is that when the car sits in hot weather, the backup camera doesn't turn on. I am told that this is just how they operate (guess in Sweeden, they don't get >100 degree weather much). Works just fine otherwise, but figured it should be mentioned.
So why am I selling it? It's just a bit too small for our needs. We really need a vehicle that seats 7. I am in no hurry to sell this, so I am not going to take lowball offers on it. I have done my research and feel that I have priced this very fairly considering the overall condition, age as well as mileage (178K miles). Car has no leaks, of course. No dash lights. Passed emissions. Clean title. It's ready to go and will need absolutely nothing. It's a high-mileage car, but Volvo's go forever, and this one has been absolutely meticulously maintained and if the new owner continues to maintain it, I've no doubt that it will take you another 100K miles or more.
So what will this beauty cost you? Well, I am willing to part with it all for $7,950. It's by far the lowest priced XC60 on Craigslist. I checked. Twice. What's funny, is that those that are priced $2-5K more than this are in much worse condition and I can guarantee haven't been as well taken care of (and they don't have all the options this one has like Navigation, etc). Yeah, I probably could ask for more money and get it, but I don't need to, and I know Craigslist buyers would probably try to lowball me on the price anyway, so I've saved us all the hassle, time and effort in listing it for the pre-negotiated price of $7,950. You can thank me later. So gather up the funds, and give me a call, text or email to make arrangements to come take a look at this. You know you want a reliable, sporty, Sweedish blonde.
