There was a sighting **Update 6/26 - REPORTED SIGHTING**
We just heard from Paul (thanks Paul!) that he saw a dog matching Bruce's description on Sunday on Hwy FF near the old Tip Top Bar. He said that the dog was in the middle of the road and was wet, which would make sense based on where we lost him. Paul turned around his truck to grab the dog, thinking it was strange, and when he got back around the dog was gone.

Our sweet doggo went missing from a walk in the Manitowish Waters area this weekend. We are devastated to be heading home without him, but we are hoping that someone will see him and get in touch. All positive thoughts, prayers, love, and pleas to the universe are hugely appreciated. We are trying to find comfort in our bird dog being on a great adventure in the woods.

Some practical info for anyone who is helping us look:
His name is Bruce. He loves birds and humans but mostly birds. He has had “dead tail” before so if he has been running his tail might be sprained and not wag.

The last time we saw him he was on a walk on Circle Lilly road between tower road and J. They were past the cabins onto the dirt road section but before the piles of timber from logging. He had been walking along the road with Brad and dipping into the woods and popping back out, locating Brad and going in again. Bruce rounded a corner before Brad and never came back out of the woods.

We think he found something interesting in the woods and followed. We spent about 10 hours searching the woods in the area Saturday and found no sign of him. We think it is possible that he got disoriented in the woods and could have traveled along ATV or snow mobile trails trying to find his way.

A cashier at the grocery store in Mercer thought she saw a dog that matched his description behind S&S sports in Mercer but haven’t heard any other reports of sightings.
