Stray cats are a major issue for Montreal and the large rescue shelters are overflowing. Many cats like these are euthanized without someone to care for them. This rescue will nurse these babies and has helped neuter many queen moms in an effort to curb the population of feral cats living in the streets with scarce food and water in the harsh winter conditions of Montreal. How can you help? The rescue is foster based only. This means that cats and kittens are fostered in homes where they are cared for as a member of the family. A full adoption meeting takes place when a a family is interested in adopting.

-adopt a kitten or 2 cause they are so much cuter in pairs (interview and home inspection may be required- some people adopt pets for the wrong reasons).

-always neuter, vaccinate and microchip your pets

Did you know that black cats and kittens are quickly euthanized at large rescue shelters? This is because only a few adopting families will take a black cat! yes this is still the case in 2019!

Please note that I am not selling cats on Varage. I do not even run the rescue. I am helping advertise that rescues such as this organization exist. Adopting a cat or kitten is a long process that includes an evaluation of the home and family to see which kitten character would be suitable. This is best for the kitten and for the adopting family. The goal of the rescue is to make sure that every adoption Is a successful one for the life of the kitten.
