This is a rare antique early 19th century telescope draw-tube 5 lens for both day and night. The nicely decorated telescope is signed on the draw, 'G Bradford, 99 Minories London”. Issac Bradford started supplying instruments from Bell Dock, London in 1795. Between 1817-22 he company worked at 136 The Minories, London.

The signature and design on this telescope obviously indicate an early date within this sequence, as the later telescopes made by Bradford had other decorative features .

Size: length when closed: 10” long by 2” wide, with draw tube fully extended: 30" long by 2” wide.
