These dressers were made in the 1990s by Richardson Brothers, a small company in Vermont that specialized in finely-crafted solid wood furniture. They are natural cherry wood with beautiful dovetail joinery. Cabinets close quietly. There's a secret compartment in the tall dresser to hide small valuables. The knobs are metal, maybe pewter. They call it a 'modified Shaker' style, as the edges are rounded instead of sharp right angles, and the 'apron' at the bottom has a graceful curve rather than being straight across.
