Offered up is a Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark 1973 TV Professional Built up Scale Model.
This is quite an uncommon and scarce piece. I had it built by a professional model maker after the creatures from the infamous made for TV movie from 1973, and it cost me a pretty penny.
If you’ve ever seen the movie as a kid then it probably spooked you every bit that it scared the bleep out of me. It has now become a cult favorite amongst baby boomers and X generation adults.
The model as explained prior was built by a professional model maker who put a heck of a lot of time into its completion. The detail on each figure is outstanding. Especially the paint work up done on the faces. Scale wise it’s about the size of the creatures seen in the film with each figure measuring approximately a foot in height.
Just finding one of the figures available for sale is uncommon, let alone the three of them, and with such incredible detail. Last photo is from the film, so you can see how clearly these figures look in comparison.
