In addition to items not allowed on varagesale: http://help.varagesale.com/article/371-what-items-are-not-allowed-to-be-listed there is no selling of pets on this community. However, we do support adoptions for the best interest of the animal at no charge and we have a Community category with a Lost & Found section to reunite pets with owners, or for any Lost & Found items.

• No duplicate posts and no posting more than one image of the same item*. (combine the images into one photo, or place additional photos in the comments section under the original photo)

Home businesses'/Small Businesses' may post 1 ad per business, per person in the 'Small Business' category. This would include Avon, Tupperware, Norwex, etc. No recruiting for Avon etc. please.

To help prevent spammers only Facebook accounts for real people will be accepted. If the Facebook account appears to be using a fake name the request will be denied.

Sellers:

• For best results, please take clear photos (not blurry or dark) of the actual clean items with a plain & clean background. Rotate if needed.
• Be truthful about all details in your postings. Full disclosure is in effect in this group.
 Include any necessary expiry dates. 

Sellers who give incorrect/misleading info that is pertinent/crucial to the sale should immediately refund the Buyer & pick-up their item. {For example, it is the Seller's fault if they sell a bed frame that has the wrong size indicated}.

Buyers:

• You are strongly encouraged to inspect all items at the point of sale. If the item does not meet expectations, you have every right to change your mind. Do not alter the price agreed upon unless the inspection warrants it.

We have a 3 strikes policy on this group and If members are caught 3 times not abiding by the rules they will be removed from the board. This includes no-shows. So please familiarize yourself with these rules and follow them. Rudeness and/or swearing at an Admin may result in an immediate and permanent removal from the site.
